Your First Visit

Patient Forms

When you arrive, a member of staff will greet you and welcome you to the Thrive Chiropractic family. You’ll be asked to complete our new patient forms prior to your arrival - these can be found in the New Patient Center. These forms help us gather important information about your health history, current condition, and goals.

Consultation

Next, you’ll meet with staff for a consultation to discuss your health concerns, wellness goals, and potential treatment options. This is an opportunity for Dr. Nathan to learn more about you and determine whether chiropractic care aligns with your needs.

Examination

After your consultation, Dr. Nathan will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your condition, we may take in-office x-rays to fully evaluate your spine and rule out more serious conditions. X-rays can also help guide the development of your personalized treatment plan. Dr. Nathan determines if x-rays are necessary on a case-by-case basis.

Report of Findings

After your examination and any necessary x-rays, Dr. Nathan and his team will review all the information with you and answer any questions you may have. Many wonder:

Can chiropractic care help me?
What is the recommended plan to reach my goals?
What will the care involve, including cost and frequency?

Dr. Nathan will explain his findings, discuss treatment options, and outline the next steps. If your condition requires collaboration with other healthcare providers, he will guide you to ensure you receive comprehensive care. This ensures you leave with a clear understanding of your health and a plan tailored to your needs.

Treatment

Most patients receive their first treatment at the conclusion of the consultation. Treatment is interactive - we highly encourage your feedback during this and future adjustments so they may be tailored to your comfort and preferences.

Wellness Program

Before leaving, you’ll receive guidance for a customized wellness plan to support your recovery and overall health. If you’re experiencing pain, this may include instructions for ice or heat application, activity modifications, and home exercises or stretches.

For patients seeking long-term wellness, our team can help create habits and routines that support spinal health, proper posture, nutrition, exercise, stress relief, and other aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Every plan is unique because every body is unique.
